We had a dog.

Past tense.

Getting a puppy right now was not one of the most genius parenting moments of the century.  But because we are good parents, we make decisions, even if they suck immediately, for the best long term outcome.

So we found him a new home.

Because graduate school, work, and raising our 3 tiny humans is enough for us for now.

Someday, when the kids are older, and I don't have homework to keep me busy at night, I'll have time to train a puppy.

Today, it isn't right.

And as sad as I am, yes believe me, I got attached in just 5 short days, something fierce, to this little guy...

 he thinks he is a lap dog...

and so did he...

 and even the dog-timid K did too...

and she, well she loves everything (even puppy treats)...

and even the Mr too.

Today it sucks that he is gone, but I know this is the best decision for us all.

I hope he makes a family really happy, cause he really is a great puppy!
