The boys mostly ran, and J tried to keep up but as soon as she noticed her tiny self falling behind she'd say "up mama, go fast." Sister doesn't want to miss out. Ever.
I was hanging back, taking pictures, reflecting about how absolutely lucky I am. How my life, at 27, is not what I thought it would be. How it is so much better. I thought about every couple who delays having kids because it will ruin their social life. While I admit, having kids absolutely does put a damper on our social life...it enriches our life is so many other ways. I cannot fathom life without them. No amount of cocktail nights with the girls, or Bachelorette viewing parties could ever amount to a normal Sunday spent together as the Loprinzi family.
Because sitting back, staring at this...it is perfection.
And knowing that I'm walking this parenting journey with him, together, solidifies everything for me. We were made to do this, to raise little people, and goodness we are living up every minute of it.
I can say without a doubt, he is seriously the best daddy. Ever.
Don't believe me, you can ask them...if you can grab their attention for a moment.
What a neat park, and a special day.

Just as we were getting ready to leave, there was a field of birds, just searching for dinner when...
Two little boys ran up on them, all dinosaur like...
The belly giggles from those dinosaur-like boys that commenced post flight of the birds, it was magical. To bad the birds missed hearing it.

The outing isn't over till the tiny gal pulls her pony tail out...
My sweet gal, who looks like a rag-muffin more often than not, (and not because her mama doesn't do her hair). I do, in fact, multiple times each day. Sister just can't handle it up. As quick as I put it up, she swipes it down.
Hey, at least we don't lose the "hair pretties," as she always hands them back and says "here mama, all done hair."
There is one thing that this KY humidity is good for, putting sweet ringlet curls in my little ladybugs hair.

Super-sweet post and pics, Kristina. I love watching the kids explore, even from so far away! Love, Emily et al
