We are busy around here. Much too busy to worry about folding the laundry that is in the background of this picture. In fact, it sits there, still. Just as it did the day before, and the day before that. It has sat there so long - probably since the day we brought J home - that the clothes are wrinkled. I have no plans to fold them anytime soon, in fact R has come to realize that to find "fresh undies" he has to go to the heaping laundry basket. So I am not laundry rockstar lately, a shortcoming I fully admit to. But really, I don't cares to waste time doing such petty tasks in the evenings once the boys are in bed. Evenings are for snuggling a newborn, kissing her sweet little head, taking in every moment of one-on-one time with this sweet baby of mine. I spend so much of the day being busy with the boys that I don't get to really soak in the moments of J's newborn-ness like I did with each of the boys when they were newborns. So the laundry can continue to pile up, cause J won't be this little forever. I have no shame. So if you visit, ignore our undies...they are clean, I promise that!
The boys are busy little sister loving. They adore her. R constantly asks "can I give Jovie a kiss?" Each morning he wakes and says "I need my Jovie kiss."
K is so fascinated with her. He is absolutely jealous of her when she is in my arms, and demands that he is still the baby. But when she is in her swing or bouncy seat, he is so curious about her. K will lift up my shirt to check my belly out and poke at my belly button. I tell him that Jovie was in my belly but she isn't anymore. I am sure he is thinking "what the heck happened, and lets not let it happen again" though just can't verbalize it yet.
J is busy attempting to suck big binkies. The first one is a Nuk size 0-6months, and it takes over her whole face!
I was taking pictures of J on her boppy pillow yesterday...
then R wanted me to take pictures of him on J's boppy pillow too...
K was running around with sunglasses on while I was taking these pictures.
What a difference a week makes...
Here J is at 1 week old and at 2 weeksAt 2 weeks old she is 6lbs 3.5oz and 19.25 inches long, "a peanut" according to her pediatrician.

Awwww, my heart totally melted all over again! What a sweet, sweet girl. I love all of her hair! and the adorable outfits! So cute!
I'm glad you aren't worrying about the laundry. As long as it's clean, that's all that matters. Wrinkled clothes never hurt anyone. You are spending your time as you should. :)
