enjoying right now

This morning, my couch looked like this - well see that gap in between the boys, I was there, but had to get up to take a picture to capture this moment.  A lazy Monday morning, spent watching "trains," as a family of 4.  We are really digging the nurse and professor work schedules around here.  One pretty lucky little family to be snuggled up on a Monday together :).
 

I love the "just outta bed look"  The way sweet little K is snuggled up to daddy gives me some reassurance that his world won't be completely turned upside down in about 3weeks.  See he can be a daddy's boy when he wants...

Later, once P headed to work, R decided it would be nice to share his new sunglasses with us all.

and just as the day started, with couch snuggles, it ended just the same.   The look on all of our faces is evidence of the super-mega-fun day we shared together.  Playing all day is hard work you know.

and P is back from his run, and for the first time in weeks his dissertation is not stealing him from me tonight.  Adios!
