We got out for a nice, long neighborhood walk.
After that K insisted on going bye-bye. Poor kiddo needs signed up for some out of the house activity to get him out regularly. So we ventured out to the pet store to get food for our new kittens, who we are hoping don't get fatal kitten disease like our other two - goodness that was beyond traumatizing.
Here was our Jilly-cat when she was brand new. She was such a sweetheart.
she loved to snuggle, and tolerated anything the kids did to her.
Clearly she was loved, J was willing to share her favorite kitty cate animal with her!
and here was our little Pumpkin, he was only with us for 3 weeks before he got too sick.
They were so, so sweet together. Always snuggled up.
and his face was about the most sad thing I've ever seen the day we took her to the vet for the last time. He is SUCH a lover, my sweet firstborn.
The way he loved these kittens, I knew we'd get more. And so when he was ready, we did.
Meet Luke Skywalker - named by R. He got the name from the Angry Birds Star Wars game. Luke is rowdy, and fits in perfect round here.
J LOVES him!
and with our house, and because we got two kittens the first time around,we had to get two, per R's request. So it was only fitting to get the brother and sister kittens. So Milly Crawford came home too...Milly got her name from R - "cause it sounds like Jilly, I loved Jilly, and we don't want to name her killy, and i have a girl in my class at school named Lilly, so yeah, she's gotta be Milly." P said she had to be Milly Crawford because she has that one gray spot on her face. She is quiet and reserved.
Here is to hoping for a better kitten experience for round 2.
