Kip's vocabulary

When I walk in the front door after work Kiplin greets me with "hi daddy."

*sigh*

He knows so many words...

The ones that bug me, only because he knows them before the word mommy of course, are all ones that he has picked up from the movie Cars - Ka-Chow, cars, crash, vroom - vroom.  Such a little boy.

He also knows tree, grass, dirt, sand, chalk, bubbles, airplane - you know all the important need-to-know words when you are a little boy and it is summertime.

I love watching his vocaublary explode, he learns so many new words each day, and so I'll wait patiently for that one word that will make my heart explode - "mommy."  It will happen, soon enough, and until it does I guess I'll deal with being called daddy.

My favorite Kiplin words/phrases:
  • When he looks down, shakes his head, and says "I no know."  As in, Kiplin what bush did you throw your car in...he sheepishly says "I no know."
  • "Baby Jojie" (Jovie)
  • Ryker - which is always shouted and drawn out, as in "R-Y-K-E-R"
  • Daddy
  • "Go outside" - as he frantically runs to his dresser to get socks out, because he never wears socks unless they are accompanied with shoes.  Then he goes and finds his shoes, the only shoes he will wear at the moment, the bright orange adidas ones.
  • 'Pwease" - to everything.
