I have no pictures of the occasion. But goodness he looked amazing all dressed up.
It has been a long journey filled with so much, and we are so thankful that it is finished. I don't know of any other man who could have done what Paul did in these past few years. He completed his PhD, overcoming many trials that were mixed in along the way. Not only did he do everything required to earn a PhD - completion of rigorous coursework, publication of his research into scholarly journals (in his case, multiple publications) working a graduate assistantship - first in research and then moved onto teaching...but he was first and foremost a vital part of our family - making sure his roles as husband and dad came first before anything with school/work. He is beyond incredible, and I am so blessed to have him by my side, everyday, for always. He is truly an amazing guy, and fits his earned name of "the energizer bunny on steroids" extremely well.
To celebrate this momentous occasion we met up with extended family at the coast, and braved a hotel with our three little loves.
a picture of me with my three little loves - a rare occasion to capture.

Tired boys
Bedtime wasn't until 10pm, three hours later than the usual for the boys, but goodness we had fun.
