Ryk kept commenting, "mom you use to run when you pushed us, you are going way, way, way too slow."
As I was huffing and puffing it took all I had to reply "I can't run when I am carrying Jovie in the sling."
Walking to the park sounded like a great idea in my head, but once we were out headed to the park - I was rethinking my idea and wished that I loaded the kids up in the van instead.
We arrived at the park, in about 12 minutes...it took me 12 long minutes to get my crew to the park. I was a hot, sweaty mess when we arrived. All I wanted to do was sit, and cool off...but my boys don't allow for any down time.
Jovie got cranky - she was tired.
Ryk kept racing back and forth on "the shake, shake bridge"
Thankfully sweet J fell asleep, I put her in the bike trailer so I could keep up with my busy boys.
Ryker found evidence that spiderman visited this park before we got there.
and Kiplin got in trouble for throwing sand.
Ryk "watered" a tree (and I took a picture cause I'm cool like that)
This was my first attempt at a solo park trip with the three little loves. I usually just take them on outdoor adventure walks - where there are no tall structures for my dare-devil 22 month old to fall off of, or head-dive into. I think my heart rate was in hyper drive, trying to keep track of the boys running around, making sure no one got hurt. Thankfully it was a successful trip, no injuries.
Latly - Jovie has started to make the goofiest faces...
and my boys love eachother (most of the time anyway)
