milestones

It is official - she smiles.  A real, legit, I'm so ridiculously happy you changed my poopy diaper/burped/fed me smile.

But, she is extremely stingy with allowing them to be captured on camera.  Here is an after-the-smile photo.  I'll get it, eventually thought.  Because I am patient.

Here are her cheeks, evidence that breastmilk alone is sufficient for her needs :).  Makes a mama proud

Tiny eyes peeking out after bath time.  Clearly they are saying, Thanks, mom, for getting the crap off my back/belly after that massive blow-out.  I really appreciate you.  Or at least that is what I think her eyes are saying.

She also loves holding onto things now.

She is almost getting too long to fit in this position anymore, so bittersweet.  My newborn is clearly not so much of a newborn anymore.  Where is this time going?  Sheesh!
