She's been part of our family for 2 months.
She's got the sweetest little faceA tiny, perfectly shaped noggin
Can rock a cute ruffle butt
and always sleeps with her hands up near her face...
until I move it in an attempt to get a picture of her entire face.
Which caused her to stir around a bit, and then she flash a little dreamy smile.
She likes to be held. Constantly. I don't mind either, because babies don't keep. Just 2 months ago she was brand-new, and now were here. So I hold her. All day. When she falls asleep, within minutes of putting her down she wakes and give the cutest pouty faced cry I've ever seen, as if to say - HELLO, I am a baby, why are you putting me down. So I scoop her back up, back into my arms right where she belongs. 9 months I carried her in my belly, and for the next 12 months I'll carry her in my arms (or a sling), because that is just what being mama means to me.
The 2 month Hartley and dog picture was pretty cute today. She kept grabbing dog's leg...
Then she really cheesed for the camera. I was so disappointed I cut her little feet off in so many of the photos. I was too busy staring at her little smile when snapping the pictures.
That disappearing eye-smile that she flashes…wait for it...
BAM. Is that not the squishiest, sweetest face ever?!
Her toes, yep, still as expressive as her little smile. Those long toes are wild.
In less than 3 weeks we will pack up her room, colorful and smiley just like her little spirit. The room I gathered things for, with the tightest of budgets while she was snug in my belly. The cheesy heart-art that Jovie and I made to hang on her wall that she loves so much. Seriously, girlfriend loves laying in bed and staring at the colorful hearts just hanging there.
and if you turn the ceiling fan on and make the hearts swish around, oh she gets so smile-filled.
The many faces of Hartley while heart-wall watching...
Ohhhhh, so facinating.

It's only fitting that Hartley loves hearts! ;)
