I took the fantastic 4 out to the park - by myself. We all survived and had a "super mega fun" time per Ryker. They are so simple to please really.
A picnic lunch. Strawberries, raspberries, carrots (I was the only one to eat em'), cheese, crackers, oreo (singular, because they only get one each, I'm stingy like that with sweets).
Today I felt like I finally could swing this mama of 4 gig. Hartley snug close to me in a wrap, pushing three kids on the swing in an assembly line of sorts. Giggles, smiles, and the feeling like we can finally go out, just me and them, and not just survive doing it, but having fun too. Everyone had patience, and it was just seamless. Granted I'll have another outing, probably tomorrow, where my tiny army will defeat me. But I am soaking up today's outdoor adventure as a successful victory.
Ryker kept asking for "a swinging high five"
and then Hartley got fussy so I had to nurse her, which meant no more "high in the sky" pushes on the swing from mama. So they did the next best thing - Superman swinging, and competed to see who could get the highest.

Hoorah for a successful, fun outing! This will be me not too long from now... Learning how to do this with 3! (And I just now feel like I sorta have the hang of two!!)
