Professor P-Lo

My Mr. is climbing the silent ladder to success.  While I am busy furthering my education, he is even busier.  He planned his teaching days to be all day long on Tuesdays and Thursdays - a real drag for any professor - imagine standing up talking for 8 full hours with just a smidge of a break long enough to scarf down lunch - so that he could be home with the kiddos Monday, Wednesday and Friday so I can do clinical hours, go to class, and still work part time.  He stays up late each night working to change the world, one scientific research article at a time.  He also makes time to do stats work for DNP students as well as the local major hospital in this area.

and while this paragraph makes him sound like he is a work-a-holic who is never home with his family, that would be the furthest from the truth.  I honestly don't know how he juggles this busy life of his, but I need to take note and do the same.

His work ethic is something else.  My dream guy.

He is now up to 72 publications, with 18 more in review - which for only having his PhD since March 2011 - well is manic.

He got his 3rd publication in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings this September, and is now a reviewer for the journal.

and now, I am left to wonder, why in the world he is at a small, private college, especially here.

He could be a world changer, my Mr.

I am so excited to see your career unfold, to see where it will take you, and us...

So proud of you!

Wow. Go Paul! It's been so awesome to watch you guys "grow up" via your blog. I remember when you were pregnant with your first little Loprinzi, living back in Oregon in an apartment. :) It's really cool to see how far you guys have come!
