Summer 2012

With a heat index of 100+ degrees, we make it a point to get outdoors, climb and run around when it is just 85 degrees. 

why, yes, this is my new favorite picture of all time.

 P always gets our for his run first thing in the morning, and they boys make it a point to cheer him on when he comes around the neighborhood loop.

Later in the day, after nap time, there has been a lot of this going on around here.

and some cheers all around, as we have daily popsicle dates.

 

I'm not sure if the heat brings out more bugs, but my kids are crazy about bug hunting.  Of note, neither boy will touch a bug, but leave it to my little lady who just so happened to snatch up a butterfly yesterday.

and when we can't stand the heat any longer, we bring the rowdy games inside...

Summer 2012, with three littles, oh goodness it has been sweetness, and I am going to miss it.  I am feeling disappointed that R starts school in just 11 days...I feel like there should still be another month of summer left!
