Middle little

Our little middle, he is almost 3.  We are trying to figure out a fitting gift for him, which is difficult since he has an older brother, and therefore has just about every toy for that age group.  R says to buy K some angry birds...I wonder who will play with those more.  Genius little 5 year old already knows the system - as he attempts to convince little brother to wish for something that older brother really wants.

I asked K what  he wanted for his birthday.

His response - "A happy meal from McDonalds"

Apparently we don't go out much, as his birthday wish is a special trip to McD's...

Some Kip quirks lately -
  • He says sprinkle instead of sprinkler.
  • Loves playing in the water outside
  • Always wants to eat 2 popsicles, everyday.  Little man loves summer!
  • Runs with his mouth open wide, always.
  • Has an extreme fear of bugs.
  • Will randomly come up and say "so what you wanna talk about?" paired with a shoulder shrug.
  • Still does random bouts of baby talk - of which P and I are convinced it is his way of swearing at us without getting in trouble.
  •  He has this crazy scream/squeal he does when he is mad.  He points his finger at you and screams something along the lines of "da duh duh" which sometimes sounds like he is trying to say "that's enough" which is typically appropriate when he is acting in this manner.
  • He asks to go to bed at night.
  • Has given up his nap
  • Love these frequent K phrases
    • "I go down da stairs, go to the basement, and jump on the twampawine?"
    • "JO-VEEEEEE" - said several thousand times each day whenever she swipes his stuff away or is being a bugger.
  • Is EXTREMELY protective of J, when at the store someone bent down to see J as she was walking the aisle.  He ran over to J, squeezed her and said "um' on Jovie!"
  • Wants to do everything himself - put his own clothes/shoes on, pick out his own clothes/shoes/food, etc.
  • Has become a VERY picky eater.  Grrrrr.
  • Loves trains/cars/balls.
  • When he doesn't want to do something (pick up) he will say "i just go in da corner."
  • Knows all his shapes and letters.  Still working on colors though.
  • Loves to build pyramids in the sand table, which I think is funny because I always call them sand castles...
