This week, all of the sudden, my boys really seem like brothers. Brothers who share, wrestle, snuggle, bicker, but most importantly brothers who love each other. Before their age difference prevented this, but now that K is getting older, R is showing more interest in him. Their little relationship is growing, and goodness it is so fun to watch grow.
Brothers who share...
K absolutely loves R's spiderman sunglasses. He brings them up to anyone and pleads "on, on, on!" Today I was sitting next to R, K brought the sunglasses up to R instead of me saying "on, on, on!" It was so sweet, first that R so lovingly shared his sunglasses with his little brother, and secondly that K was seeking help from his big brother instead of me.
R's little face just makes me melt in this picture, he was so proud of himself for helping his little brother.
Brothers who wrestle...
We usually make our way to my bed each day for some snuggles in the afternoon before K takes his nap. Today the boys were wired, and it turned into a wrestling match/giggle fest...
Brothers who snuggle..
and then they got tired...
Brothers who bicker...
It isn't all brotherly love though, take for instance this evenings bath time bickering, over train bath squirting toys of course.
Brotherly love...
But at the end of the day, when R says I just need to give K one last hug before he goes to bed, I know this is brotherly love.
and my little K seems ginormous all of the sudden.
