P was all teacher-like, red pen in hand, correcting papers last night. My little professor. I was busy preparing for my interview, which is today at 3pm.
With K being sick lately things have looked like this...
Little dude is constantly fussing and reaching for his mommy, and I don't blame him. Poor kiddo is just miserable. I think he is finally starting to feel better after 7 days of sickness.
Today we woke up to fog. I told R it was so foggy outside. He ran up to P and said, "Dad it is so soggy outside." He requested to go on "a soggy outdoor walk" and the fresh, crisp, fall air is just what all of us needed. It was so nice to talk with R about the different seasons and what happens during each. We collected little treasures along the way (rocks, sticks, leaves). According to R, we saw evidence that Spiderman walked the same trails we did by the spiderwebs that were left behind. I Took a moment for a quick fall photo, in which K was the only willing participant. We walked on top of the cracks in the pavement, which R refers to as "sidewalk snakes." Then when the little almost 4 year old got tired, I scooped him up, put him in the bike trailer and I got my workout in. The boys munched on Kix together while I was busy pushing them home. My run was much appreciated after not being able to workout for the past 7 days because of my sick little family. I did, however, realize that this is the last time I will run during this pregnancy while pushing a bike trailer. Being 18 weeks pregnant, and pushing a bike trailer loaded with 50lbs of kids while running is nearly impossible and something I won't do again until after I am belly-less. This momma is tired, and will most definitely be sore tomorrow!
and any crisp, fall, "soggy" walk wouldn't be complete without a hot chocolate date with my favorite almost 4 year old afterward.
The morning walk put us all in good moods.
R said "K is a Stygimoloch (a type of dinosaur), his hair is all spiky and poky on top." He asked me to take a picture so he could put a picture of K the stygimoloch in his photo album. So here is K the stygimoloch.
and a post with pictures just wouldn't be complete without a picture of everyone in our little family. So here is #3, 18 weeks and making my belly really pop out... I don't think there is going to be a way to hide this belly during my interview.

R and K almost look like twins in the 2nd picture of them together! They are such good-looking boys! :)
