December 26th and 77 degrees

Park day, 77 degrees, shorts, and Decemeber.  Must be Mississippi.

We took advantage of the not so white day-after-Christmas.  While I'd love some wintery mix, I must admit it was glorious getting outdoors in the spring-time feeling vibes.  An outing that was golden: everyone had a blast.  Victory!

The fantastic 4

This girl, that grin.  Sweetest face.

Spying while playing hide and go seek tag with the boys.  Ryk is not a fan of being photographed so capturing while he is unaware.  Love this boy!

Kip's giggle when I found him is one of my favorite noises ever.

 Park life.

He is a self proclaimed "parkour master."  Just practicing his skills on everything at the park.

The magic of capturing all 4 busy kids, in one central location, at a big park:

In an effort to document us too, our mugs.  I always have so many photos of the kiddos and not enough of our love story.

And no trip to Advent park is complete without some not-so friendly running competitions.  See this first one, the start of the out and back race is magic and thrilling.  Everyone is in close proximity and no one is dubbed the "winner" just yet.

But that turn around point gets them every.freaking.time.  At least one kid, usually more, walks away crying or mad.  These all look like we were having just the most awesome family, friendly race…but the kid in last, yep, he is ticked.  You win some, you lose some.  But I totally love those smiles on Paul and Ryker's face.

And Hartsey, just running in her own little land, and Kip still ticked off in the background.

She was just so determined to climb this slide.
Victory…just a little help from her biggest brother to weasel to the top.
 Feeling like a champion.

Sunshine turns her hair a shade of beautiful.

I love these moments.  I love when I can capture them.  These here, him carrying her, then walking with her hand-in-hand.  I want to store them in my brain, and keep them there forever.  Moments in time, her: just 18 months, seeking independence but still wanting security.  Finding both, with her daddy right by her side.

Meanwhile crazy, downhill sprints...

Ending this lovely outing with my favorite picture.  This likely will go in my "heartsmile images folder."  You know, the one that you create so you can go peek when you are in need of good vibes, smiles, and all the good feels.  This day, so SO good.
