Fu-Fu Fluffy, and Fluffy

My mom sent some beanie babies a while ago to the kids.  In an effort to simplify our house when we first moved in, and downsize to better fit into this smaller house, I went though the stuffed animal bins to figure out which ones we could donate to other kiddos who would play with them.  Jovie and Kip discovered two beanie baby cats, two month ago, and their life has been filled with adventure since.

Seriously.  The imaginative play that has erupted since has been pretty sweet to sit back and observed between these two.

Meet Fluffy, a little gray stuffed cat, who Jovie lovingly named, and has not left her side for the last 2 months.  Ever.  It is all drama around here when he manages to get left in a room and she can't find him for a moment.  The world has to stop and everyone has to look for this little gray stuffed cat.

Kip has named his Fu-Fu.  Jovie said "Fu-Fu is NOT a good name."  So they settled on Fu-Fu Fluffy. This little orange stuffed cat who Kip even sleeps with at night.  And if you know Kip and his quirks, well it is strange to see him so attached to a stuffed animal that he sleeps with it in he bed.  Photo compliments of the fabulous photographer Jovie -

They have adventures with these stuffed cats.  The kids have been missing our fire pit at "our old yellow house" and so I told them they could make a pretend fire pit.  Here they are roasting s'mores with Fu-Fu Fluffy and Fluffy.  Bonus about the fake fire pit that Kip realized - "without real fire our kitty cats won't get all fire-pit smelled smokey and stuff"
They like to run around the front yard and throw the cats up in the pretty pitiful looking tree.

This picture - oh I melt.  Jovie's little hand behind Kip's back.  So funny how two stuffed cats can bring two little kids together and create hours of playful, non-fighting fun.
Kip's cat sprung a beanie leak in it's leg and had to go to the "veteritarian"(a made up Kip word, which sounds like a mix between veterinarian and vegetarian) to get a quick fix.  I was getting tired of picking up those little beans around the house, so I attempted to have a hand with a needle and thread.  Fixed him right up.
