I love the surprise of unexpected images on my camera when I download them onto my computer. My Mr. captured motherhood for Summer 2013 perfectly. Days spent enjoying the tippy swing set, mama in her usual frumpy sloppy pony tail, running clothes and Chaco sandals. Sweet J girl in her "princess swim suit." Both boys shirtless and in basketball shorts. The smell of sweat, sunscreen and bug spray on all of us. Hours spent outdoors. Alternating between playing in the water, on four wheelers, soccer in the yard, or swinging. With the swings, since there are only 2, there is always a constant plead of one little fussing - "is it my turn yet," which is settled by the beeping of a cell phone time yielding swing switch out. Oh these simple, normal moments at home. I love them.
