She says "I awake DADDDY," waits for a moment, then says "I awake MAMA" at 6:00am. I roll over, hope she'll quiet down and settle back to sleep, but after 5 minutes I force myself to peel out of bed.
I rescue my little lady, and attempt to keep her little voice quiet in hopes of keeping two little boys asleep for just a bit longer.
But as I change her diaper, I hear little feet coming down the stairs.
An early start to the day.
After a busy morning of reading countless books, jumping on the trampoline, playing basketball, building a fort, and a stuffed animal war I decided we were getting out...going...doing something today.
and sunshiny 60 degree fall weather won't always be hanging around.
The rush-around of dressing three littles. "No K, go get a shirt, one that isn't a PJ shirt" I tell him, though I'm not quite sure it really matters in the least.
It is a trip to the park/trails after all.
Will he really care how/what he is dressed in afterall.
Who do we have to impress anyway.
And so we head in the car, the van pulls out of the driveway at 9:39am, 9 minutes later than I'd hoped.
I'm not sure why I put the timeframe on us, it's not like we are missing church or anything.
In fact, we drive by, and observe our neighbors in ironed church clothes, as we head out dressed down to enjoy the outdoors.
We discuss how much these moments, exploring, and enjoying every single.second of this life we have, together make us feel most spiritual.
No amount of time in a church, or moments reading my bible does this to me...
but outdoors, marveling behind the lense of my camera, at this beautiful life I have...is when I feel most spiritual.

These little people, this man make this lady so lucky.
