Avoidance

1 last "going away party" - Sunday 7/7/11 at noon.  We'd love to see you!  Check your email/facebook inbox for the details.  There will be food, family and friends.  So perfect.

2 boxes is all we have packed.

3 more days left of work.

4 days before the moving truck, and strong family arrive to help load our loot.

I have neglected packing because I have been too busy...

• living up the moment with Oregon friends and family

• enjoying iced mochas with pink straws

• sitting with my feet up while I nurse my babygirl

• sneaking off to create inked memories with (one of my best friends) sista J...sorry mom

• playing in a kiddie pool with my two favorite little boys

• attempting to get acclimated to warmer weather - my excuse for sitting outside all day the past few days in this nice 90 degree weather we had with my kids.

• taking evening walks with my little lady, girltime.

• mastering the art of hair clippers, one knicked ear at a time (so, so sorry K).  For such a little snafu, that little ear sure bled.  K didn't even cry, such a tough kid (wonder which parent he takes after).  Little dude looks snazzy and oh so very grown up.  Just like that a baby transforms into a little boy.

• reminiscing with my husband about how we are "finally here" at that place where we dreamt of 5  years ago...happily married, 3 beautiful little babies, our college journey complete, much deserved job positions obtained.  We "have it all" - minus the home ownership piece which isn't far down the road.   Most importantly, we have happiness and love which was, and continues to be, the foundation that helps us muster through this journey we are creating.  I love our journey, and I love the person I get to journey with.
