Airplane

Today, after I got back from Jovie's appointment we spent the morning outdoors.

Ryk made sure to keep buzz hydrated.  "I don't want your pee to be all yellow Buzz..."
Kiplin kept putting rocks on top of McQueen's hood then pushing him  and yelling "crash" whenever the rocks fell off.

the boys kept "hiding" from me
and Ryk was on a bug hunt

Jovie was asleep in Tylenol wonderland.  We brought her baby monitor outside with us.

which is so rad because I can watch her and play outside with my boys at the same time.  She had her 4 month old check up today, at 4.5 months old because that is how we roll.  I always find these appointments totally pointless, since I know she is developing perfectly...but we go for the vaccinations and update on her stats.  The positive reinforcement from the pediatrician that we are "doing a great job" and that we are "great parents" is also a nice ego boost.  She is smaller at 4 months than both of the boys were when they were 2 months old, but she is perfect.

While we were outside Kiplin spotted a plane.  He gets so excited to see them, jumping up and down, pointing up yelling "air pain"

This was my perfect opportunity to discuss flying on one with Ryker.

Now he knows we are going to be flying on an airplane soon, and that we are moving.  I have to find the right moment to explain what that all means to him...and I am dreading it.

Since Paul won't be able to do this...

while juggling carry on luggage for a family of 5 in the airport, we bought this...

So far, it is new and exciting.  Kip kept asking to be put back up in the seat after I took him out.  So we will minimize using the new stroller in order to keep it exciting for when we really need it.

Nothing more amazing than this...goodness he is such a good dad!
