and this about sums up how K and I both felt on Halloween. Turns out, an ear infection is the blame - for the second time this month! I am ready for some health around here!
Thankfully P was healthy so R got in some fun birthday adventures, as well as some quality one-on-one time with daddy.
He rocks the granny bowl, perfect form, complete with tongue action.
He even carries his own bowling ball. Impressive, especially given he is only 29lbs himself!
I attempted to get a picture of the boys in their costumes...here were the results.
R was trying to keep K sitting next to him.
but as soon as R quit holding him, K took off.
and so my pictures of them, together in costume, suck.
But this one doesn't.
and goodness you can totally tell they are brothers.
Daddy and R headed out to trick or treat without us. R came back with a bag full of loot, and was only out there a total of 30 minutes.
but a monkey that cute, knocking at your door, with a polite thank-you response to the treats received would warrant extra candy giving. And add on top of his cute factor, and his politeness, a quick "it's my birthday" and the candy piles in the bag. Kid knows how to work it.
and that bag of loot is tempting.
but not as tempting as snuggling up to this couch full of boys.
and no birthday would be complete without cupcakes (funfetti of course), chocolate ice cream, and a special #4 candle.
