D-60

My camera (D-60) coded.  Fortunately, unlike people, I think after being in asystole for the past 5 days, I have hope it can be revived.

Or so says Dr. Google.

Just do a, b, and c and hopefully it will be fixed.

So I purchased (actually sent P out to purchase) a tiny screw driver and some WD40 (my dad would be so proud).

I attempted the fix per Dr. Google, and well, lets just say I currently have a non-functioning camera only now there is a stripped screw in the bottom of it.

So, I'll fork out the money and take it to the professionals...

Cause I can't miss out on the photo opportunities that my crazy kids bring any longer.

Good things lately -
1)I've been doing a lot more in the kitchen lately.  My family appreciates it, I'm sure our insides do too.

2)Our bumper is repaired, though I'm not sure I mentioned the bumper issue before.  Late nanny plus hurried husband and a big rock in a silly spot = bumper pulled part way off our not-yet-paid-for Sentra, Razzle.  P took her into a repair shop, I questioned the ability of the shop, P however told me the signage hanging in the shop "proved" otherwise...as signs stating something along the lines of "best automotive repair shop" were displayed.  P told me on the phone that it was going to cost $400, I believed him.  He came home with a fixed bumper, and the auto body repair shop's business card.  He said he left without paying - further elaborating his story that "they don't take (credit) cards," and well P never carries cash or a checkbook (sillyboy).  He said they told him to mail in his cash or check, and that it really only cost $20...To tell the truth, I still don't know what part of his story is true, all I know is that the bumper is fixed.

3)Trying to decide between applying for the FNP (family nurse practitioner) program, or getting my MSN with a focus on education (so I can teach someday).  Becoming a FNP is appealing (job description and salary), but jobs don't seem super abundant.  I thought I would NEVER pursue graduate school...but alas, here I am.

4)Jovie is one week away from being 9 months old, and tonight, for the first time, she'll be sleeping in her own room.  So bittersweet.  Our boys were both sleeping solo by 2-3 months old, so this little princess really got spoiled.  The living room now serves a dual purpose - living space and P+K bedroom.  Someday we will have an ideal living situation, for now we just roll with it.

5) We are finally all kicking this sickness we've had for about a week.  P never got it, fingers crossed he doesn't get it.
